After fifteen years being based at the Forrest Centre on St Georges Terrace in Perth, Consumer Protection has moved to a new CBD location.
The main location is Gordon Stephenson House, 140 William Street Perth with front counter services available on Level 2.
The move is in line with the state government's plan to consolidate existing office space for the public service.
Consumer Protection’s contact centre number of 1300 30 40 54 remains the same, as do the postal and email addresses. The phone numbers of individual staff members have changed, although temporary redirections are in place.
The Department’s Seniors’ Housing Centre has also moved to 140 William Street Perth, but its number of 1300 367 057 remains the same. Free information for Seniors who wish to change their living arrangements towards retirement is available on Level 2.
The Licensing Branch of Consumer Protection has moved to Level 5 WestCentre, 1260 Hay Street, West Perth. Licence applications can be lodged at this location. The Automotive, Marine and Trading Hours and Associations and Charities branches, currently based in Osborne Park, will move to the WestCentre later this year.
