The Digital DMIRS Strategy seeks to improve the department’s operations and service delivery through the effective use of technology. Some goals of the strategy are to modernise digital systems and design more customer centric services. One of the initiatives that will assist with achieving these strategic digital goals is the development of contemporary licensing protocols and systems that make it easier for industry to do business. This will also assist licence holders by making the processes more autonomous, streamlined and transparent. DMIRS has already begun this journey, and has developed this roadmap that will drive future developments and improvements.
